FINOPS

FinOps

Identify unused capacity, redesign pricing strategy, and establish cost governance that finance and engineering can operate jointly.

What we do

We place finance and engineering in the same operating rhythm. Idle compute, uncommitted usage and data-transfer charges are addressed with a review cadence that lasts beyond the first reporting period.

Our services

  1. Waste elimination with production disciplineIdle, orphaned and oversized resources are removed against a production map, not a spreadsheet that cannot distinguish cache from a customer path.
  2. Pricing architectureSavings Plans, Reserved Instances and private pricing are designed as a portfolio, matched to workload shape, not purchased as a year-end adjustment.
  3. Ownership and showbackCost is allocated to teams and products with tags, accounts and narratives suitable for executive reporting.
  4. Ongoing governanceBudgets, anomaly detection and a review cadence that treats cost as an operational objective. Optimization is a continuing practice, not a project with an end date.

How we engage

Assessment (typically two weeks). Account topology, principal cost drivers, commitment coverage and a ranked 90-day plan. The output distinguishes waste, architecture and growth.

Value program. The changes that alter run-rate: rightsizing, storage class, transfer paths and commitment strategy, sequenced so engineering can continue to release.

Operating cadence. Monthly executive reporting, weekly engineering actions, and a Cloudhew architect on exceptions. We remain engaged after the first reporting period of improvement.
