Migration
Migrate and modernize workloads with a defined roadmap, landing-zone foundations and a rehearsed production cutover.
What we do
Foundations first, then wave plans that protect revenue paths, and a rollback plan written before DNS is changed. Lift-and-shift where it is the correct choice. Re-architecture where production and cost require it.
Our services
- Strategy and wave planningApplication inventory, dependency mapping and a sequence that protects revenue paths. 6R choices are stated explicitly. Not every workload is a candidate for rewrite.
- Landing-zone designMulti-account organization, networking, logging and the security baseline the first production workload should inherit.
- Lift, shift and hardenWhere time-to-AWS is the constraint, we migrate cleanly and then close the gaps a naive lift leaves open.
- Re-architecture and data pathsEKS, serverless and managed data. Oracle, PostgreSQL and MongoDB migrations with a cutover plan database administrators can support.
How we engage
Discovery. Coupling, licensing and what is actually in production. A migration that starts from an untrusted CMDB will generate avoidable surprises.
Foundation and first wave. Landing zone in operation. A pilot workload in production with a rehearsed cutover, confirming the method before it is scaled.
Subsequent waves. Repeatable patterns, named owners and hypercare with a defined end date. We measure waves completed and incidents contained.
